Channels in wrong places

What would cause the channels on my SD receiver to be in the wrong place? TNT is a rolling Dtv tutorial. BBCA is on TRU, ION on FX. This is after three restarts due to black screen and endless "searching for sattellite" message. This has happened before. Do I try to restart again?

I'm in a multi-unit building and our middleman provider is the worst company I have EVER dealt with, bar none.

Sigh...some channels are still black and BBCA is appearing all over the place. The HR22 in the living room seems fine. Is it this receiver?

You can try swapping recvr locations and see what happens, but I would think it's a recvr issue.

Well, I fixed the darned thing! :-/

After several resets because it wouldnt even finish booting up, I tried reauthorization. Guide was there but black screen. Tried forcing a software download and now it's working fine.

Kinda wishing I hadn't tried so hard. Lol!

It's possible that the receiver is sending incorrect LNB switching signals.
What are your signal strengths?
