Channels deleting themselves out of favourites list

Twice in the last month now random channels have unchecked themselves out of my favourites list. Anyone else have this problem?

It could be related to D* adding new HD channels.

If you have your menu setting to 'Hide SD Duplicates' and you have say 'Channel 312 - Hallmark SD' in your Favorites Guide, that channel will simply disappear when D* adds 'Channel 312 - Hallmark HD'. The HD will not replace the SD channel in your Favorites, the SD channel will simply disappear. You will need to open up the Favorites menu, punch 312 on your remote to save all that boring page changing to get to the relevant channel, and then add 312 Hallmark HD to your Favorites.

The Guide will be updated correctly, but your Favorites requires a manual update.

Yep good point. D* will be moving and adding channels in the next few weeks so be aware that you will see more of this. even if they just move a channel to a new number you might lose it from your favorites list

I've had this happen 2-3 times.

Lately one of my OTA subfeeds dropped off (7-3). A PBS & a CW station was removed as well.

Today, I found all my season recordings had their setting to only record new shows, changed back to record both new AND old. I had to change them all back to "1st run".

I have an HR22-100 and an HR23. It only has happened on the HR22 so far. I am using the custom 1 list and have all the HD channels in and the SD channels out except for the SD channels that D* does not carry in HD. Last time it was my locals(HD Only) and espn-u that where gone from my list. This time it was channels like HD-Net, Travel HD, Hallmark Movie Channel. I had to go through the whole list to and check the missing ones on again.

Hmmm, I have not had that happen with any of mine, but don't have a HR22 either.

Well, not channels but today I found a 2nd & 3rd unit had some series recordings deleted from the scheduler.

1 - R15 had all scheduled recordings reset to record both 1st runs & repeats instead of 1st only.
2 - HR20-700 had The tonight Show & Til Death deleted from scheduler.
3 - 2nd HR20-700 had CSI deleted from scheduler.

I only caught the others because the Tonight Show did not record Monday night. Not sure what's going on.
