Is anyone having trouble with MeTV & Movies on 99W? I've been experiencing complete signal loss on these two channels from time to time. Last night about 10PM, both channels had a complete loss of signal. When I checked this morning, they were back but weak and they were breaking up. I've been without THIS and 3 other channels on this satellite for some time, but MeTV and Movies always came in.

Most of the other channels on this bird are booming in. The Lesea MUX is running 92 Signal and 85 quality and most of the others are pretty close to that. That's on the 7 1/2 foot Unimesh. I moved the 12 footer down to 99W and I'm still not getting these two channels when they are out on the smaller dish. I suspect it's some kind of interference, but I can't put my finger on what it is. I don't have any towers, cell or otherwise, visible from the dish locations, but there is 1 cell tower with wireless internet on it, but it's on the back side of the hill to the west of me.

Maybe Titanium can offer some input on this one. If I move up 1 satellite, or down one, I don't have any lost channels. Just on 99W.

We haven't tried Movies but definitlely have not been getting MeTV for the past few days on 99W. I believe they may be working on it or adjusted the levels again because a few days ago it was booming in stronger than we had seen it in a long while - then a day or so later it was a no go. (<8' mesh in Central PA) :(

I don't wish you any bad luck, but is good to find out I'm not the only one having a problem. I began to think I had some terrestrial interference of some kind going on. Movies on 101W is booming in, but MeTV HD is only running at 54 signal level and 46 Signal quality, but it's locking. Breaks up just a bit once in a while. H&I, Decades and Grit boom in as well. I have not been able to get MeTV SD 1 & 2 on this bird for quite some time. I think it's the receiver though. I don't think the processor is capable of sorting them out.

I'm getting ready to order 2 Linkbox 9000i receivers. Everyone I've spoke to say they are the way to go.

Same here - really strong signals on 101W for everything but MeTV HD (but strong enough to lock). Don't believe MeTV SD 1/2 are there anymore but could be wrong... No experience with them but I've heard the Linkbox 9000i is a nice receiver. Hope they work well for you. :)

Thanks. I'm not certain they are there either. Still shows them on SATHINT, but it may not have been updated if those disappeared. I hope those receivers work well too. I'm starting to get a pretty impressive collection of receivers and LNB's. I think I have 10 different receivers now, and those ten are pairs since I have two hookups. 20 receivers in all. :) Lost count on the LNB's.

Never hurts to have a spare! :)

You're right. Well, I better get off here and head to the house. The boss just walked in and ask me what I'm doing. I told him I was wasting his time talking to a man in PA. :) He just laughed. I've known him since he was 7 years old, and I'm pretty much a fixture around here. We've been friends forever. :)

I've been using just the Linkbox 9000i Local for 1 year. The basic cable that I have with my Internet here in Washington has 20 locals. The Linkbox gets more than 30 including some from Idaho. I have one antenna on my window. (nothing on my roof) I really like the box.

MeTv and Movies on 99w are both coming in fine with 85% Q on my MicroHd right now, 9' dish.

The SD MeTv channels on 101w are gone, there's two HD MeTv channels there now at 3726/V/10000, MeTv HD and ALT1HD. Those come in with a Q of 70% for me on my MicroHD and 9'.

Have noticed KRBK breaking up a bit, but haven't totally lost it. Came close a few times. Then moved to 101 and caught the HD feed, and it was also having some issues, so may not be totally a MO problem. The other thing is that is STORM season in that part of the world and that could be some of the reason for things getting wonky at certain times.

So, no you are not the only one. As for the other missing ones, I'm getting them with a 72 or so Q on an Amiko A3 and 10 foot Tek2000 dish. I haven't look at a foot print map, but where I am, I usually am in a GOOD contour. So, that may be why I am not having any problems there.

I've been having problems with Me and KRBK, which are on the same TP on 99w. Right now I've got 72% Q on it but yesterday it was bouncing down in the 20s/40s most of the day and when it wasn't pixilating it was completely off. This seems to come and go and has been doing this for quite some time.

I found that hooking up different receivers you will get a signal variation from one receiver to the other. Last night Movies & MeTV were back on with a pretty good signal. Had a little break up from time to time, but nothing major.

I saw last night where COZI TV and Light TV are merging into one channel, Light TV.

Just checked now and KRBK, MeTV and Movies on 99w are back for us with Q between 63/66. :)

Are you getting the 3813 H MUX? I haven't gotten them for quite some time. Signal just bounces up and down, rarely locking and when it does, it breaks up so bad you can't watch it. They even do it on my 12 footer. I'm thinking of adding side panels on the 7 1/2 foot dish to see if I'm getting interference from a wireless internet connection somewhere or perhaps a microwave I wasn't aware of.

If I use 36 inch aluminum flashing I can shield it almost up to the bottom of the scalar. It would be hard for a secondary signal to sneak past that. Who knows, maybe I'll get the 3813 MUX back.

No, haven't received the PR mux in quite a while. If the 12' dish can't lock it then I guess the 10' I'm working on won't be much help... If you have any success with shielding let us know - would be nice to have that mux back again.

Today, ME TV and KRBK have 80% Q on my Raydx system with the Openbox S9 receiver, which is the same system that was showing those low numbers a couple of days ago? This has got to be a problem with the satellite or the operator randomly decreasing power output.

I'll let you know after I get it on there. I have 4 dishes set up at the house, a 7 1/2, a 12, an 8 and a 10 footer and the neighbors are already wondering what I'm up to. Wait till I add the side panels. That ought to get them wondering. I also have a 12 foot Paraclipse fiberglass on a pole behind my outbuilding. I can't get to it to run new wire. Have 2 60 food pine trees laying on the ground between it and the house. I'll eventually fire that one up. I told one of them I was relaying messages from the Russians to Trump. :)
