Channel locks

I have been out of town for a couple of weeks. I see I have new software L449. Well, every single one of my channels, I have to enter the password due to ratings problems--even on HDNews. What's the deal?

Didja do a reboot? My 622 did crap like that after 449 was downloaded. A reboot fixed it. Good luck1

I've seen that problem at two different service calls. Go into parental controls and go to #2, the channel lock list. You will probably see all of the channels checked. Select CLEAR LIST to get them all unchecked and then start over with your parental controls.

Channel lock list was the problem. Every single Dish channel-oddly, none of the OTA channels were locked. Thanks for the tip. I don't recall ever using that screen.

CI don't recall ever using that screen.

That's the same comment I got when I fixed this problem at two different customers' homes. Must be a glitch in the matrix.
