changing locations

We spend our winters in Mexico. I am in the process of switching from Directv to Dish. Now our network stations come out of NY. With Dish I will have local network stations which are on a spot satellite. My questions is what do people do when they move out of the area of the spot satellite for their network stations? We have a permanent dish at our site in Mexico.

You will not see your local NY stations in Mexico, they are way out of the spot beam....

Actually the big 4 New York stations and WPIX and WWOR are conus on 119, but only in standard def, the high def are on spotbeams.
