Mark Brunell sustained a cut on his left elbow in the 2nd quarter against the Colts last week. It could hold him out for this week if it seems like its effecting him. Leftwich has looked REAL GOOD in 2 games so far this year, but both have been mop-up against 2nd string defenses.

However, with the Jags starting 0-3, is it time to start Leftwich pretty soon anyway, even if Brunell is healthy. If we have 2 losses or less by half season, I would let Leftwich get a chance to play. He looks like he is ready, but once again its been during mop-up
