Trying to set up the DVR to do some recording on Friday of some hockey and all the CI channels still say "To Be Announced" on the program guide and those numbers aren't listed at all on the D* website. Every other time I've been able to go 3 or so days in advance to set up my recording. Anybody know if this is normal or how for in advance the program information will get to the receiver? 24 hours out and still nothing--seems odd. Thoughts?

This has been a problem with Center Ice for years. What I eventually ended up doing in years past was to just get the sports package so I could set my TiVo to record on the sports channel the game appeared on... This works about 95% of the time. Occasionally you'll run into a problem in that two channels are broadcasting the same game and DirecTV will black out one of them (invariably the one you chose to record 
).
There was one week in the early 2002-03 season when the games actually appeared in the schedule for Center Ice 3 days a head of time. I know they can do it, but they are just lazy. Most times the guide only shows "NHL Center Ice" or some such in 2 hour intervals.
You can also sometimes guess which channel the game might be on if there are only 1 - 3 games on a particular day. The first game (7:00 or 7:30) on the schedule will play on the lowest channel, then the next game, etc.
