does anyone know direct tvs current contract cancellation fee? I am not cancelling i am asking for a friend

Up to $300. And its charged to the credit card you have on file in 6 days after you cancel. I was going to cancel when I got E* but It was cheaper to keep a base package untill my contract is up. I'm gald I kept them ,because E* is not quite the company I thought it would be.
