I am looking at canceling my cell phone plan because i found that with another carrier i would be paying about $20 less with the same plan, but I dont want to pay the $200 cancellation fee. Does anyone know a way to get around this?
Its not really the 200 dollars that pisses me off, its just that ill have to buy another phone with the new company that i get and since i need a smartphone it will be a total price of 500-600 dollars to switch when it should be 300-400.
You know I waste more money going the casino or simply planning a vacation than I would spend paying a cancellation fee on a cell phone or even a satellite system.
So many people are so set agenst breaking a contract, they don't realize the cancellation fee really isn't that much when you think about it.
Its like yesterday I had an issue with sprint on my wireless laptop card. Finally got pist off and told them I wanted to cancel and then the rep tells me there is a $200 cancellation fee. I just laughed and said it was worth it not to deal with sprint anymore!
