Cell Bluetooth gateways options

Anybody have any experience with devices that integrate your cell phones into your home phone system? Here is a sample of one of the devices that I was looking at.

I would love to be able to drop my home phone but I need a way that would easily allow my daughters to have a phone at the house that is readily available. I don't want to have them worry about having the cell on them in case of emergency while in the house.

That is why I asked my question here. This device is just one of many that will accomplish this. I want to bet whatever one is the most reliable out there if I go this route.
