I'm adding an hr34 to my system and am wondering about the proper hookup versus the one I use now which seems to work fine. Prior to the hr34 my system consists of 2 hr24s and 1 hr20. All 3 are centrally located in a wiring closet along with an hdmi matrix for signal distribution and networking equipment. All receivers are directly connected to the router. From any room in the house I can access any receiver and see a combined playlist. is this not whole home? I can stop playback and resume in another room...basically I can do anything except add a program to the series manager of receiver A while viewing receiver B, etc. but, when I need to accomplish this I just switch the hdmi matrix to receiver B and voila!
What am I missing by not using the cinema connection kit? Will the addition of the hr34 force me to change anything besides removing the hr20 and putting in the hr34?
