= Tv's worst comedy. I thought it was absolutely horrible. I woulod rather have Shark back than suffer through a season of this show. Anyone else catch it, and what were your thoughts?

My wife and I laughed so hard at that show that we couldn't catch our breath. Now that was the last show we watched on the dvr after all the cbs comedies , and Dancing with the Stars that was funny also. So we might of already been primed and ready to laugh by the time we watched the Worst Week. It reminded me of the Ben Stiller type of comedy like "Something about Mary". The clueless boob who keeps getting into more and more farsical type situations till you just can't keep up and die laughing. I don't know how he can keep up the pace in every episode and I did notice there was no laugh track or live audience. Kind of weird not to have at least a live audience.

Hey! I actually liked Shark, but I have to agree with you on Worst Week. They should have simply been accurate with the title and named it Worst Show. Absolutely horrible, I expect it to be pulled soon but you never can tell with networks. They cancel great shows and leave on crap.

Whoa, were you even watching the same show as I was? It was completely hilarious, I haven't laughed out loud that much in one sitting since the golden age of sitcoms. If the whole goose/urinal scene didn't tickle you, then the scene where he's bringing the "dead" father in law back to the house and the mother in law starts shrieking had to have gotten a chuckle, it was hysterical. And for some reason, the bit where he's slapping at the flames on the portrait was absolutely brilliant on the actor's part.

Have it sitting on my DVR ready to compare it to the BBC show it is based off of; "The Worst Week of My Life"- the fiance in the BBC version was played by Sarah Alexander (Susan from the BBC Coupling) I am hoping this won't be as bad as the US version of Coupling, otherwise might have to wonder if there is some sort of curse on Americanizing shows she is in...

It was too much over the top for me. I will give it a few more episodes, but they just were going out of their way to come up with wacky senarios like peeing on the duck.

I liked Big Day a lot better. I know how long can you run episodes about 1 day, but they ran half a season. Is this show just going to be one week?

The problem is that it did not look like the jokes were acted smoothly... It was like a slow motion movie where you knew everything that was going to happen. Best thing about comedy like this is the element of surprise... but this one had none. Maybe it becomes another prison break... worst week season 3 and 4... how many of these can they do?

Well, watched another episode and thought it was still just a bunch of lame stunts. Feels forced.

Watched 15 minutes of the second episode, deleted the show and canceled the DVR timer.

As I understand it it's going to progress over time normally, with this continuing saga of days leading up to the "worst week." Like, each week is worse than the last in this poor guy's life.

See, I really like the show. I thought the second episode was a shade improved over the first, which is always a good sign in my opinion. The characters are settling in, the laughs are getting better -- I about DIED with the bird in the pocket thing, my whole apartment heard me laughing and had to come see what I was watching. Thank god for TiVo, and the ability to rewind and show them all... :D

I think I would PREFER the US version of Coupling instead of this show. Sadly, Do Not Distrub beat it to the trash heap - for the notorious first dumped show of the season.
