are in jeopardy of being cancelled at the end of this year (Hour long dramas). Not all will be cancelled of course. I'm thinking maybe two this year. No particular order.

1. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Ratings are down below New York's final season. 9.2 million last week.

2. Criminal Minds: Contract problems last year, getting dry. Been around a long time.

3. The Good Wife": 6 seasons in the bag. Already pickerd up for syndication. Show is pretty much wrapping things up the things are going this year.

4. The Mentalist": Another veteran show that is wrapping up its major story line. Decent ratings for a Sunday night but down below 9 million this week.

I purposely left Hawaii Five-0 off the list because it was picked up for syndication by Turner with only four years and less than 100 episodes.

CSI should of been gone when the other two CSIs were cancelled. It is way too long in the tooth now. Criminal Minds I quit watching years ago due to the sick family killing and torture plots- glad to see it go. Never got into the Mentalist although my wife likes it. The only show I would miss is the Good Wife. I like the characters and the plots are interesting to me.

I think CSI will be picked-up because a) the ratings aren't terrible b) it's CSI and c) loyal audience; I think CBS will use it as a lead-in/follow-on to NCIS: NOLA next year. While I agree Criminal Minds is getting a little long in the tooth, I doubt the show is going anywhere for the same reasons as CSI. Plus, both shows are in syndication so future episodes will also help generate revenue. As for Good Wife and Mentalist...yep, I would be surprised if either one is renewed for another season.

CSI was revitalized with the addition of Ted Danson ... never could get into the Mentalist and had timers against the Good Wife, the ones I've seen I liked, same for Criminal Minds, watched a little tonight and recognized Admiral Chigwindden from JAG ...
