CBS-HD Question

Folks, I need some help. I live in zip 22044 (Falls Church, VA) near Washington, DC. I cannot get locals OTA as I am on the back of a large hill with two tall bank buildings also blocking. I just started with the E* HD package and I was led to think that all I needed was the 61.5 dish for me to receive the CBS-HD and this was added to my Dish 500 (via SW64) some weeks ago. Now E* is telling me I cannot have the CBS feed! Is this correct?? I thought this was one of the "Owned & Operated" areas and we could get them????

No, washington dc is not an O&O cbs.

And even in an O&O market, if you are also within the Grade B contour of another market you would have to get a waiver from that station which isn't likely to happen. The EKB HDTV Page lists the O&O markets and has a link to the Dish page that explains how to qualify.

Thanks guys! I guess I was just misinformed. Hopefully Charlie & Co. will have the locals for us in HD sometime fairly soon.
