What type of splitter or disecq switch is needed to split the cband to go to both fta and analog receiver?

I have an all ports power pass high freq splitter, and a 2 way pulse disecq, and a 4 way disecq, of these 3, will either of them work?

I don't know that much about analog receivers but I have read hear in the forum that you can hook the analog to the loop through on the fta unit. Check with ICE or PSB to make sure I'm correct.
rdel:)

I knew that but I also have a seperate KU dish for FTA as well, I wanted it to where both would work at the same time.

tried tinkering with the FTA and BUD together, but I'm not getting good signal strengths at all on the 10', anyone know why?

Also, I noticed while doing a scan on FTA I would have to have the analog receiver on a V channel when the FTA was scanning the V channels, and H for H channels...is that right?

I'd check my cables, make sure they're good. Just a little bit of signal strength loss makes a BIG difference. Otherwise, I'm not sure why your signal strength dropped. If you're looping out of the analog box, then yes, turn it to a V channel to scan V then an H channel to scan H. If you're coming off of the spliter then do the opposite...let the FTA box control polarity and when you want to watch a V channel on the analog box, switch to a V channel on the FTA box. I know, it's mind boggling.

Ok, here is my setup,

Got 4x1 switch in the house, it has:

lnb 1--linear
lnb 2--circular
lnb 3--c-band from bud

Now my motor will not turn the KU FTA dish, why?
Does switch have to be between the LNB and the motor?

Its always best between the LNB and motor!
