I'm on U341 and had been able to set one while on this update but I tried to yesterday and the red dot never appears or the timer go in the timer list. So I let it set overnight and just tried again. Nothing. Tried the red button reset and nothing. Tried on the joey. Nothing.

Is there a way to fix this that I haven't tried yet or is this a bug with the new update?

Okay so after some testing it appears to be only certain shows. EPL on CNBC (the timer had stopped populating so I deleted it to try to fix it and couldn't set one after) and the new 6 PM sports center (already had set the time in preparation but they changed the name of it). I found a workaround for sportscenter but doing M-F though.

Try "daily" when you create your timer and it will record the show with the complete title at least once a day if it is in the guide. Certain channels don't work the same as say local channels, so they don't work correctly with a "New only" timer. Sometimes if you set "new and reruns" you end up with every version of the show that you can get. You learn which channels work like this after a while and which don't.

My problem that I see keep happening, since I have had the hopper 3 is the following: Randomly having a timer disappear. This week it was the Arrow on the CW. Record new only every week and I have it set in a 95 priority. This last Monday my wife called me at work and said: "The Arrow isn't recording." I checked my I-pad on the dish anywhere app and the timer was gone. A few weeks ago the View ,which we record every day, priority 4 was gone. A couple weeks before that Good Morning America timer was gone and that priority was number 1. Each time I had to recreate the timer to get it back in rotation. So I never know which show I watch will be not record. I have also done the power cord reboots each time this happens to make sure I clear out any bugs or after new software is downloaded. Still happens anyway randomly. I have started checking my Locals in a guide by themselves each week before the new week starts, just to make sure that my shows are set to record.

But as I said CNBC had been working and ESPN usually works how I want it.

I'm having a similar problem that's driving me crazy. I have the PGA Tour set up with timers for channel 401 and also my local CBS affiliate. Today 401 was scheduled to tape from 1-2:30p and CBS 3-6p. Last night before going to bed I checked the schedule and the CBS one wasn't there. I went into the guide and selected it to record again. When I got up this morning I checked and they were both scheduled. When the first one ended at 2:30p I checked and the one at 3p was still scheduled. At 5 to 3 I checked and the 3p was gone again! Same thing happened to me yesterday but I missed the 3p recording because I trusted the stupid thing to do it right!! Very frustrating.
