Cant request room to Record HR24

I have 2 HR24 boxes and was professionally installed.
Both HR24 work on the network, I can view/delete recordings from either HR24 and it's shared
When Im at either TV, I can no choose which DVR to record to. It only records to that room only. If Im on the website channel guide or on my Android phone, I can choose which room I can record to.

Your right you can not choose which dvr to record on. That feature is not available on D*. You can choose from the D* web page only.

HD receivers can do this but not DVRs.

That stinks and kinda inconvenient, hopefully that changes with a simple software fix if they ever decide to fix it

We're hoping. In the meantime I added a receiver to my system , it was free but I have to pay $6 a month just to have that capability. I have 5 DVRs so to me it was worth it.
