Replaced my TV2 with a Sylvania LC320SLX. Purchased the RC65R to control the TV and SAT.
RC65R turns the TV off and on and will adjust the volume ok but nothing to the vip722.
Message on screen is receiver is off, press select to continue.
The TV is set to channel 73. tried all the receiver codes from 00001 to 00008.
I tried activating the RF using the the last six digits of the RID, could't tell if it was working or not. Distance from the receiver is about 40'. The old 6.3 works in the room and yes there is an external antenna on the back of the receiver.
