I just returned to my place in Maine, put up a regular 1000.2 EA dish, set up and hooked to my hopper using port 1. The hopper came from FL where we use the western arc. Did several reboots with and without cable to clear unit. After hooking up and several reboots I get a strong signal on 61.5 but 72 is not showing up.

I am at a loss to figure it out. I was thinking of a good satellite meter to test alignment but don’t want to spend the $500 or more for the few times when we travel in the RV and use a portable set up? Any ideas of tricks to ensure I can lock onto 72?

Well you are about 10 degrees off. Swing the dish to the right since the 72 LNBF is pointing at 61.5

Well you guys were correct, shifted over and worked. I was using several phone apps but found most were off, one showed me a overhead satellite picture of the direction that was better than the AR pictures in the sky. Once I figured that out is came in fine. Might fine tune tomorrow.

Dish Align worked best to get the Azmuth correct.
