Cannot access timer list- error 24 - VIP 722

I am switching to DirectTV and had my new box installed yesterday. I figured I'd be able to access all my timers on my VIP722 without the dish connected, but it seems if there is no signal it won't let you into the timers? Is there a way around this? I'm wishing I wrote down all of those things.....

No, when you end service, well, you end service.

Without the program guide you can't have timers.
