I am in Boston and able to get NBC, CBS, PBS, WLVI(Local WB), WGB:mad:another PBS), all very nicely doing the scan without moving the OTA antenna.

Now if I were to move it to another area and do a new scan, I may get a different channel, but lose 3 others.

If I want to add FOX and ABC without losing the rest of them, can I do so and then maybe just move the antenna when watching those channels?

Yes you can. Simply input 6, 1, 5 on your remote. You will see the Local Channels screen. Now go over to Add DTV and then input the digital channel number. You must have your antenna turned to get the signal to lock. Save each channel as you input it and lock. Now you should be able to receive your Fox and ABC stations when your antenna is pointed that way and all the rest when you antenna is in the original position.
