In Canada? Just wondering if I need to get a newer dish to be able to pick up the FLA locals in Canada. I currently have one of the older round dishes with a basic digital receiver. Do I need a dual dish? Thanks, in advance for your answers

Fla locals are spot beams, co chance of getting them in an extremely northern state.

thanx for the reply, I won't spend any more time trying to figure it out. and I guess if that is my sub address, then I won't get any network channels at all. oh well, the specialties are great and local cable can fill the gap. thanx again.

New York Locals

I was just wondering if I will be able to get New York Locals in HD on Directv. I am in Brampton, Ontario Canada.

Thanks

You should be able to pick up the major networks from NY.

Funny people from Canada sub DirecTV and want HD and the US guys go Canadian for a choice of US HD Networks.
