can not access menu - interactive TV

When I have tried to look at the channel 100 and use many of the features ie bill paying/add programing etc etc .. the system says it is not available yet on the system I must be doing something worng.. any ideas??

Interactive TV is, currently, only available on certain models, specifically the 301, 3900, 4900 and some DVRs.

OK I have a 522 and the non-dvr unit I guess neither of which allow interactive TV. I am new to Dish but not sat TV .. seems that Dish would say that in their 101 info channel...

It's funny that the 101 info. channel tells you about the interactive features that are not available but they don't tell you about single mode, which is available.

Or maybe they updated it. I haven't watched it for a while.
