Can I use a DishPro 34 switch to receive four slots?

Sorry if this has already been asked but here goes:

I currently have a Dish500 with DishPro Twin LNBF aimed at 119/110 and a Dish500 with DP single LNBF aimed at 61.5 joined with a DP 21 switch.

Can I replace the 21 switch with the 34 and add a third dish aimed at 129? I'm not clear if the output of the Twin LNBF can be fed into port 1 of the 34 switch.

What's prompted this is the talk of Universal HD being uplinked on 129 only and today's rumor that all of the new channels will be uplinked to 129 only.

I'd like to keep the 61.5 for the international stuff.

Thanks for the help.

no

you would need both lines from the DP Twin and one line from the DP Dual to go into the DP34, which gives you 3 satellites (110/119/61.5). If you only hook one line from the DP Twin to the DP34, you will only get 119.

You can put the DP21 on one of the outputs for a 4 satellite solution :)

Thanks Ice,

So you're saying 119, 110 and 129 feed the DP34 and one output of the DP34 feeds the DP21 (the 61.5 feeds the other input of the DP21) and I'll have 4 slots for one receiver and 3 slots for 3 other receivers.

if you want Int'l on all receivers, put 61.5 in the DP34.

if you want both Int'l AND HD on all slots, you will need a DPP44
