Can I reprogram the back button?

I have a Tivo dvr. I know how to program the skip forward -- or whatever its called -- button, so that it jumps 30 seconds, rather than 15 minutes, but I'd like to know if I can reprogram the back button so it also goes back 30 seconds, rather than 8. (I think I'd prefer that rather than 30 seconds.)

(PS what the heck is that "one more day to go" comment in tthe header/sign-on area all about?!

One more work day left till the weekend for the M-F work people, something different will be up for each different day of the week !!
