Can i plug Voom dish into Dish 942 for demo?

Got my Dish 942 today but no install til next saturday. What would happen if I hook the voom dish up to the 942 and fire it up. I read something about an HD demo channel.

Will this make things more difficult for the installer by having to reconfigure the 942?

Should work, no pblm. The 942 can work with legacy (like Voom dish's lnb) or dp lnb's, you may have to do a check switch command from the install menu.

I don't know if the initial software download for the 942 is available on 61.5 or if it is only available on 119, with core programming. If the initial download or the upgrades are not available on 61.5, it will not work.
