Can I in Minnesota get T12 sat?

I am wondering if anyone in Minnesota can get T12 satellite. It's at 15 degrees west. It's listed in my Fortec Star and I tried to turn to it using USALS but it said it's out of range. I remember once looking at the footprints of the satellite and it showed that it covers parts of eastern MN.
Lyngsat website doesn't show my coordinates (93W , 40 N) as below the horizon. Here is the link: http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/t12.html

It will be quite low on the horizon.. I am not sure of the minimum size requirement for the americas feeds that far on the edge...

I cannot find footprint data for it, I guess Eutelsat does not care much for their leased birds so they do not have ERP maps.

If it was possible, it would have to be a dedicated dish, as your motor wont go that low on the horizon either way

If I read the footprint map ( http://www.loralskynet.com/glb_fleet_12.asp ) correctly, it looks like the elevation angle would be less than 5 degrees for MN.

You had better have a VERY clear LOS to to the East.

They dont have ERP data for that far west.. they only have NYC, Boston, and Miami, 49 and 48dB respectively, it would probably be closer to 45 or so that far west..

Looks to be at around 15 deg elevation and you will need at least a 1.2m or bigger dish!

Thanks to you all for the insightful comments. I guess it may not be worth the hassle of dedicating a 1.2 m dish for it. Also my east is blocked by big trees even if I put the dish on the top of the house.

Those in the eastern U.S. have no trouble seeing T12 with a 76cm dish (I think).

Where I live, in northern Minnesota, the elevation is almost precisely 0°. If you live very close to the WI-MN border, you may be able to get it if you mount it very high where there are no obstructions to the direct west. Otherwise, I would first consider moving to Michigan

T12 used to carry Israeli Channel 2. But recently I looked on lyngsat.com and channel 2 is not lised under T12 anymore.
