I have a TV that only has a single co-ax input. No big deal since the Samsung DVR that I'm getting has an RF output. The picture quality will be sufficient, since this is a bedroom TV.

Now, can I use the RF output of my DVD player to hook into the OTA antenna input on the DVR. I can get local channels through DTV, so the antenna input would otherwise go unused.

Couldn't this be done without an RF Modulater? That is, if the DVD player has an RF output. Or, are the signal levels somehow different?

if your dvd player has an rf output u can hook it up as is .question is this a combo dvd/vcr unit ? i ask only because i dont know many stand alone dvd players that have an rf output .but yes u can hook it up as is

Now that you mention it, maybe I *don't* have an RF output. I thought that I saw one when I first tried putting in in, but now I'm not sure. In any event, I do have a Terk RF modulator lying around that I could probably make use of.

Thanks, everyone, for your help.
