Can anyone tell me about?

I am totally fascinated with some of the channels I see on lyngsat. I don't have my own FTA system yet I was hoping that someone may have watched these and is willing to tell me about them.

Channel 2 on Telestar12
MedSat Sport on PAS3
CCTV9 - is this a FTA Ku channel.

If I had a setup I'd be watching TV 24/7

1/ Channel 2 / T12 This satellite is NOT viewable from this country!

2/ Channels on this satellite seem to be part time! I just checked and there was only One channel FTA I was picking up FTA

CCTV is one of the better english language foreign news channels out there. Also good is Russia Today on IA5.
