Can a Universal LNBF be used with a 4X4 or 5X4 Switch

I believe that 4X4 5X4 switches use the 22 Khz tone - so would that make them incompatible with a universal LNBF?

Correct, a 4 x 4 (or 5 x 4) will NOT work with a universal, since they use 22k...

Universals will pretty much work with only a Diseqc. No 22k options can be in the line

I think I had universals working by just just sending standard singals rather than universal signals.. it's been a while and I've since switched them out for my standard lnbs.. but I believe it did work at one point.. shrug or I could have just been lucky..
