cable length

I am installing a second receiver in my basement. My dish has the connection for 2 receivers,so that OK. How long a cable can I use before I get some deterioration of the signal....Thanks ....Len

Up to 200 feet from the dish is fine. I've seen it work even further.

Really depends on the type of cable you will use.

If you are buying new, then go for good quality RG6, it will certainly reach your receiver with no problems at all.
