Is there a way to feed a HD signal from my cable company into the HD10-250 and thus record programing from the cable company? I am having signal problems with my OTA antenna. FOX and ABC come in well but NBC and CBS have a lot of pixation and drop out. (Loiusivlle, KY area)

No

But I thought the HR10-250 has two inputs for over the air recording? Of course those are broadcast signals, uncompressed -- but mightn't a user get something like that over cable?

The 10-250 has an ASTC tuner for OTA broadcasts. Your cable signal should be QAM, which the ASTC tuner won't understand.
