Cable channel shift open spot raise speculation on Altitude

The sports network has long occupied Channel 26 on the cable giant's Denver-area lineup. On Tuesday Channel 25 was empty with American Movie Classics moved the line to Channel 64. Could Comcast be clearing prime real estate for Altitude Sports Entertainment the new regional sports network that made its debut this month Altitude will broadcast the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche teams that had been broadcast on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain's Channel 26 since its inception in 1996.
