*C picture?

I have *C connected with a component cable ( the only connection) and Dish connected with HDMI. The *C picture is much better. It rivals the OTA reception I get with local channels. Why? Do they use less compression? I don't think my eyes are playing tricks on me. Any experts know the answer?

Dish crams up to 12 SD channels per transponder and I've seen 4-5 HD channels per TP

Starchoice is 7-8 SD and 3 HD per channel

I have dish and starchoice.

Funny, first time (today) i noticed how great the piture was on

TSN watching tennis.

Wow! Ive never seen it look this good.

That make sense. It sure looked that way to me.
