This is what you have to do to change from a C band channel to a Ku band channel, or vise versa WITHOUT making any changes to the antenna configuration if you are using the 3688 as a slave.

The best example is AMC 4. KUIL, WVGN & Peoples Network are Ku, the NBC feeds are C.

Go to antenna installation and install AMC 4 twice, then go to antenna configuration and set one up for Ku and the other for C. Scan or manually enter the FRs for the Ku, then do the same for the C.

This will let you go from one band channel to the other without making any changes.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM me.

hey diamond, thanks for the info. would this also work if i am slaving a c band to my 3688? someone gave me a HST V and i am already using a satwork 3688 and loving it.
any suggestions as to how i could slave the HST V to my satwork?

no problemo

I'm slaving my Toshiba TRX1420 C/KU receiver off my Pansat. Best reason for a loop out :)

Now if I could figure out how to get the Toshiba to change polarities without the Pansat having to get involved :)
