c band with coosat 5000

Im new to fta I have a 76" disk with linear ku lnb pointing to 121w with a coolsat reciever.

two questions
1. I am unable to get the cband freq. does coolsat support cband i.e I do not see these freq in the setup screen.

2. I probably need a cband lnb.. wife would not let me get those mesh disk.. will it work by me getting a cband lnb or I need to get a mesh dish.

76 inch or 76cm dish?

Coolsat does support C-band but you need a 6 foot (1.8m) dish and a C-Band LNBF to get the stuff on 121 C-band

How do I adjust the freq. as the menus starts from 10.xxx and above do you manually add these freq on the coolsat

to manually add them, you need to go into the manual scan portion.
its 4th one down on the list

and you can hook a switch up but make sure to turn the reciever off (switch on back) BEFORE hooking up switch

with 121 there isnt anything on KU but a card saying "you have a dish at 121"

I am getting 6 channels (ABC on channel 97xx is one of those) the other good reason is that I managed to scan 111 Anik without adjusting the dish I get another 8 FTA channels.
