Last night I got an email from Satellite Pioneer Bob Cooper (A guy who fought hard to make home satellite reception legal for all of us!)

In his email he wanted to share a video with us, its a 14+ minute slide show of the Golden Age of Satellite!

I have the book as well, Bob was even so kind to sign it for me, it is marked "To the youngest, hippest you Pioneer of all - Bob Cooper - April 21, 2006."

It sits proudly on my desk.

You know, I saw that dish at Dougs(USS), but didn't have a chance to ask "what - Or why?"

Just another way to RIB a dish for strength, instead of doing it on the backside. Fiberglas doesn't care, and it's transparent to the signal as long as there's no metal in the ribs.

I like to sweep snow from top to bottom, this looks like a bad design for snowbelt winters.
