Hey guys and gals,I just picked up an old fiberglass 8' dish and ordered a new lnb from Hypermegasat.I am not going to motorize it for the time being and was wondering what bird has the best and or most channel's on it?And a strong transponder for that same bird........Also i take it that there is no longer a servo motor and extra wires for pollarity on the new lnb's? Thanks

Can you list all you exact receiver & lnbf?

BSC421 13K C-Band Satellite LNBF LNB & Scalar Ring FTA....That is the lnb that I ordered.And I have a captiveworks cw 800pvr receiver!.I am hooked up to a 36" moterized offset dish for ku,but am adding c band!Thanks

You are correct, the BSC421 does not use a Servo Motor for polarity, it uses Voltage - like your 36" Dish.
I can't tell you which C Band Sat is the best, depends on what you plan on watching.
But I would set it up as if you had a motor, start at your true south sat and all.
At least you could do the Poor Mans move by sliding the motor (or whatever) in the Clamp, without having to re-set the Elevation.
