C Band Qith Traxis 3500

Hey guys,

I'm making plans to get into cband as soon as i get a BUD. I've been offered a couple for free, i just have to see wich one is easier to bring home.
Anyways, has anyone on this forum used the traxis 3500 on the cband freq?
I'm just curious on how it compares with the other popular receivers. That is the only and first FTA receiver i have. So far i am satisfied with it on the KU bands.

it should work just fine for C-band. I haventy used one but if it works for KU fine it should for C-band

it tunes everybit as good as ku side
it only drawback is the ac-3 ( currently doesn't pass ac-3)
i don't like the menu as well as i do on the coolsat ( doesn't seem as easy to navigate)

I also have mine connected to a C Band dish and it works well.
And I agree with gabshere, I wish the Traxis would pass AC-3.
I like the menus on the Traxis DBS4500 better than The DBS3500

Cool, ....I think that when i pass over to the cband side i'll feel like i will have "arrived" in the fta world. There are quite a few international channels im eager to get.
