C-band hd

Think they will ever add more hd to c-band since most channels are availible in hd, i have dishnetwork but would love to see more hd on c-band because i'm sure the hd picture on c-band would blow dish's hd picture out of the water.

I've never seen Dish Network's HD. Some of the guys posting here and elsewhere do sy that it looks upconverted - basically not true HD. I don't know.

I have a good front projection unit onto a ten foot diagonal screen. I get to see resolution details close up. C-band 720p (maybe 20+ stations) looks very good, and 1080i (so far 4 stations) blows me away.

There will be more HD. In fact I think most of it will be HD before too long

Broadcast Engineer's Monday morning coffee club rumor has 95% HD by about 2012. Also for the OTA repeater / low power customers, like me, All (low power) analog will be gone at the same time, so I expect probably satellite analog will also be going away about that time (my guess - not their rumors).

Just was wondering if the hd decoder is worth buying for c-band, i do have an hd tv but not sure of the future of hd with c-band.

Are you talking about an HDD200 (?) HD adapter for your 4DTV?
Or a DVB (?) HD receiver?
Since the two take different equipment, you should be clear.

The hd decoder for the 4dtv dsr 922 i believe it would be the HDD200.

C- band parts

Hi, does anybody know where i can find a hd decoder for 4dtv that's not real expensive checked skyvision think their's are kinda high and their rare on ebay.

You might get more play if you changed your Topic to something more like: "Seeking HDD200 HD decoder" or similar...
