This post suggests, at least in one instance, that a manufacturer's dual-output C-only LNBF, works even better than their single-output model.I was told by person in one of the satellite shops here that the dual output LNB's provide weak signals compared to the single output signal is it true?
I bought the DMC242 dual output LNB...One issue iam facing is i am not getting horizontal frequencies on one of the outputs...Not sure where i am going wrong...I have both models....no difference
the C2 is on one C-band dish and the 242 is on another...
Thanks for the ideas...the two ouptut goes to 2 different diseqc switches & then on to 2 receivers....I will swap cables @ LNBF first then switch...Where do the two outputs go? Switches? Two receivers?
Have you checked that the failing output actually has +18 volts, to select Horizontal?
Try swapping the cables at the LNBF and describe what happens.
