C Band/ Dish Question....

I know that BUD's are preffered, but has anyone ever had any luck picking up c-band on a smaller dish such as a 31"?

If so, what kind of c-band lnb would you recommend for use on a smaller dish?

There are threads around about C band on a dish as small as 40".. unfortunately 31" is just too small to get things done.
