How much more can you get on C-Band than you can on Ku when it comes to FTA? I can get a 10' mesh for free, but don't want the hassel if its not going to be "worth" the time and effort, or what do you guys think?

Anymore news feeds on C-Band or sports feeds? Would I need another FTA receiver as well or can I run a motorized Ku and C-Band from 1 FTA receiver?

yes there are more feeds on C-band
yes there is more free stuff on C-Band
yes you can use the same reciever to pick up the digital stuff

You will need either ana anlog box to run the dish or the V-Box II (I think thats what its called) to run the big dish from your FTA box

Not many news feeds, but sports feeds for sure. ESPN uses c-band and so does CBS and some ABC events too. There's other programming too that you can see on lyngsat like 24/7 channels. I don't think having a 10 ft dish is a hassle. :) Maybe when the motor breaks, but that's about it. I'd grab it and at least store it if you don't want to put it up now. With college sports starting soon, I'm sure you will like it.

I would have the receiver that comes with the C-Band, a Uniden 4400 I think, so all I would need to do is wire that one into the DVB Box?

Is there, (in your opinion), a great deal more on C-Band FTA than KU FTA? WWE, Braves, Nascar FTA??

WWE is mainly scrambled
Braves games are on TBS. Once in a while (depending on opponent) you may catch a game

NASCAR on Fox is scrambled (the feed..FOX with commercials isn't) ..NBC has a NBC feed on C-Band (bugger to pick up but its possible)
