Has anyone ever subscribed and played the Buzztime Trivia that's available through DISH Home (Channel 100)?

Do you play against other people from around the country (like in the bars) or is it pretty silly? Just curious as they apparently charge $3.99 per month for it.

I get Buzztime "free" with my digital cable and it's interactive and allegedly nationwide, but I don't see how it could possibly be interactive on Dish unless they use the phone connection, which I doubt they do. The only other thing I could imagine would be if they would just report the scores from the interactive portion to the Dish subscribers, but not the other way around. I'm actually curious just how many people I'm playing against on cable, because sometimes there hardly seems to be anyone playing, and also sometimes there's an enormous lag in updating the allegedly-national leader board.

(I don't have Dish at the moment and didn't even know they had Buzztime.)

I actually bought the home version of the system, and 6 extra controllers. You can have 8 people playing and the controllers are wireless using infrared. They also have expansion modules for additional questions/categories. I got mine at bestbuy right after thanksgiving...
