Hi,
I purchased a used DP 311 receiver from a man in Texas. There were no charges against the receiver. It work's fine, except the time is off by one hour on the program guide. I live in Iowa, Central Time Zone, the receiver is saying it's Eastern Standard Time. Example, 8:00 P.M. now, receiver showing 9:00 P.M.
Anyone know how to fix this problem? I contacted Dishnetwork, they thought they had fixed the problem, but the time is still off!!

Pleae help!!

welcome to the site butch.

if the reciever is now under your account, go with the above recommendation and ask for a re-hit.

sometimes it takes a while for the software to "catch up",
try powering down for a while,
or power off over night and see if it is correct tommarrow.

They sent a hit, I think that is what they called it, right after I first hooked up the receiver. It didn't change the time. Should I call them and ask them to do a 'hit' again?

yes and stay on phone line with call center it should take couple of minutes
