Just ordered locals yesterday and none of the HD channels come in. Recevier flashes aquiring signal for 110 then 61.5 then shows a screen to not call DN, they are working on the problem. I show a lock on transponder 27 (the one it checks on 61.5) when I look at the signal level. SD versions work (look horrible). I want to shut off our Starchoice system soon but the difference in network quality in unacceptable.

Just want to confirm that this is the case for other people and if they have heard how long this will last.

We have a DP500 plus a DP21 and wing dish aimed at 61.5.

Thanks

Obviousily you have some equipment problems there. Either your dish is not peaked or your receivers aren't working properly. What receiver are you using? My lhd locals are fine. Channel 7 is not available on Dish in HD at this time; but 2,4,23 and 29 are and the pq is acceptable to me.

I guess I will peak the dish...

I have a 211 receiver and knew that channel 7 was not in hd. When I put up the 61.5 dish I just used the intercom on the phone and listened to the tone outside. Not exactly perfectly aligned - all of the other channels on 61.5 come in though. I put these dishes up quickly last year after our neighbors pool house blew up and took out half our back yard - and my dishes. Time to borrow a friends birdog. I was comparing the sd quality to the hd quality on SC - not really fair.

Thanks guys
Steve
