BSC621+QPH031 piggy back ?

The KU side of my BSC621 is dead...
so I remove the three screws...
and piggy back an AlphaStar 1.0dB LNB
barrel type ... over 10 years old ...
Bottom line... it works...

Since this trick works... Im looking for other
game with that BSC feed horn...
Remove the plastic cover on the QPH-031
remove some ring metal... and attach it to
the BSC621 piggy back... now it will be a
tripple band LNB... CBand + KU-Lineal + KU-Circular

Anybody tried this ? ... Did it work ?

I did this trick with a c-band only lnbf (astrotel 20k) - I swear I think this old astrotel can lock any signal with little FEC. It must be super stable. I drilled a 1" or so hole in the back of and mounted a cheap chinese ku lnbf in the rear of removing the outer most scalar rings from the ku lnbf.

I used (Hillbilly style) liquid steel to stick it together lining up the probes.
I have had this on my 7.5' sami mesh dish for over 3 years and it works great.
I get great ku reception and c-band reception.

No problem locking G3-C equity mux or HBO's on G1 (G15).

Ku booms in.
