Bsc621 C-ku-lnbf

I have a solid six foot dish, a H/H motor and a BSC621 , a BSC 621-2 and a G-Box to move the dish.

I havn't installed it yet but as soon as it warms up a little, next week should do it.

I bought the BSC 621. Then I read somewhere that for FTA you need the BSC 621-2, so I bought it also.

Anyone know the difference between the BSC 621 and BSC 621-2 ???????????????

I have a coolsat 6000 and a coolsat 8000 for receivers.

The BSC621-2 has a Universal Ku LNB L.O.s 9750 & 10600, for some of the Atlantic Sats
The BSC621-1 has a Standard Ku LNB L.O. 10750 4DTV compatible

I have a bsc-621. It sucks on ku. I can put my corotor II or chaparall orthomode feedhorn on any of my dishes and get super strong ku signals.

This unit worked ok on c-band but ku was terrible for me.
I tuned the daylights out of it and could never get satisfactory results.

i am picky keep in mind.

If you are going to stick with an lnbf, i would just use a c-band lnbf and use a second small dish for ku with a motor. Or do a corotor II and use an analog c-band receiver to control the dish position and skew.

using a traditional feedhorn with truely give you the best performance at a somewhat larger price.
