I just bought a new 10 foot sami mesh dish.
I already have a 7.5' sami mesh dish.

Observations:

After assembly the 10 footer seems quite flexible and not very rigid.
My 7.5' is rigid and feels like "one piece". All my bolts are tight and properly assembled. Is it normal to feel some flex in a 10 foot mesh?

I installed a new bsc-621 with some tuning. (I need to work on this more).
It seems to be an issue to tune c and ku at the same time.

I used G10R c and ku to tune focal distance and point.
When I would get Ku in strong - No c-band or very poor quality readings.
When I would peak c-band I would lose Ku.
Is there something wrong here?

I thought if Ku was peaked then C- band should fall into place.

Are these lnbf's good quality?

many seem to dis the 621 LNBF, I have (well had one, the H180 motor broke in half and failed... ) on my 6 foot prime focus dish.

It worked OK for both C and Ku.
I peaked for Ku and let C band end up where it did.

One thing, if you're using DSR920 or 922 is set the Ku to "rotated 90 degrees" in the system setup settings. If you're finding your C and Ku setup issues is relating to skew, make sure that value is set.
