broadloguic 2030 dvb card

I am thinking about a getting a broadlogic 2030 dvb card
going to setup the card on my Linux box connected to the LNB out on my pansat
I wonder Is it possible to send motor command through the receiver?
I have read that people have problems with diseqc motor control with this card...
Looking for any good or bad points ..

Hi gopher2, are you thinking about the 2030 because it has good driver support in Linux?

As far as I'm aware the Pansat won't allow diseqc commands to be sent through the LNB out port, if someone knows any different please post.
Also bear in mind you'll only be able to tune to the same transponder the Pansat is on if you're using the loop through.

Yes, my friend has a 2030 in a freebsd box so i am sure it will work in linux.
I want to add it to my mythtv setup
i wonder are the drivers in the standard 2.6 kernel?
i browsed through and didnt see it in there..

i found one on ebay cheap so i think im gonna get it
hopefully my box will be fast enough to decode 4:2:2 feeds.

all i can find is redhat drivers
